About

We built CareSplit for our own family.

Caring for ageing parents in Malaysia almost always lands on the children. Clinic bills, prescriptions, groceries, the AC repair, the helper's salary, the festive food, the unexpected hospital visit. Everyone pitches in — but who paid for what, and who owes whom by the end of the month, almost always devolves into a tangled WhatsApp thread and a spreadsheet nobody updates.

We started CareSplit because that's exactly what was happening in our family. Splitwise didn't feel right — too transactional, too global, too disconnected from how Malaysian families actually pay. We wanted something that handled RM amounts and local receipts natively, that worked in English, 中文, and Bahasa Melayu, and that showed each sibling a calm, clear picture of where they stood.

CareSplit is built and operated by Anchor Sprint — a small Malaysian software studio. The app runs on resilient APAC-region infrastructure, so your data sits closer to you than to us. We don't sell your data, run third-party trackers by default, or share anything with advertisers.

Our mission

Make caring for ageing parents financially fair across siblings — without spreadsheets, without arguments, without the awkward money conversation.
