Getting started
Create your family, invite siblings, and add your first expense in 90 seconds.
CareSplit takes about 90 seconds to set up. By the end of this guide, you'll have your family workspace ready to receive your first shared expense.
Sign in with Google
Open caresplit.biz and tap Get started. CareSplit uses Google sign-in — no passwords stored. Pick the Google account you want to associate with this family.
Name your family
Use something everyone recognises — "The Tans", "Mum & Dad", "Family Care". This name appears in the top-right family switcher whenever multiple workspaces exist.
Add your parents
Add Father and Mother as parent profiles. You can split expenses against either one, both, or any combination. If you only care for one parent, that's fine — leave the other off.
Invite your siblings
Open Settings → Members → "Invite sibling" to generate a one-time invite link. Send it on WhatsApp. Each sibling accepts with their own Google account.
Add your first expense
Tap the + button in the bottom navigation. Type in the amount manually or use the AI Scan tab to photograph the receipt. Choose how to split it and save.
