Recording a payment

After your sibling pays for something or you pay them, record the transfer in CareSplit so the balance reflects reality. Recording a payment doesn't move money — it's a bookkeeping entry that mirrors the actual bank transfer you made on DuitNow / cash.

   Open the Settle page

   From the bottom navigation, tap Settle. You'll see one row per sibling pair — who owes whom, and how much.

   Tap Pay on the row

   Each row has a Pay button. Tapping it pre-fills the recipient (the sibling you owe) and the suggested amount (the current balance). Both are editable — you can pay partial amounts.

   Attach proof (recommended)

   Upload a screenshot of your DuitNow / bank transfer confirmation. It attaches permanently to the payment record so the family can verify it later. Optional but encouraged.

   Save

   The balance updates instantly for everyone. Both you and the recipient see the same updated pair-wise view.
